Hey dear readers! How ya all been doing?! Some of you must've been wondering how was my interview goin' on, rite? :P
Last Saturday was great, my flight attendant interview went very smoothly eventhough I DIDN'T GET IT, but it's okay. I'm not that sad . hehe.
For me, it was a great experience as i got the chance to meet new friends which most of them were chinese and damn tall! Lemme tell you, THEY WERE ALL HANDSOME AND PRETTY AND TALL AND SPEAK ENGLISH FLUENTLY! I felt so tiny being in the middle of the crowd at that moment since my english was not that good. But i did try my best to communicate with them and brave enough to speak english which i rarely do. I can speak but so tak biasa ehhh. How i wish i can speak english just like them. Eh no, how I wish i can get used to it, so that easier for me to communicate .Cheh wa, who doesn't want
Second round was an academic round which you have to show your real SPM certificate to make sure you're not faking it. It was easy for me since i got 3A's and pass in all subjects .They only want you to get at least kepujian in BM and English and pass three other subjects. So, for me,not a big problem.
I was very inspired by this friend of mine who came all the way from Rawang , Selangor trying his luck here. However,he have to face the truth when he was rejected for not qualified enough to go for the 3rd round. Imagine, he arrived KK about 2 am and have to wait at airport till morning since he came alone and no family staying here. My gosh, dream punya pasal sanggup oo..but seriously, I’m proud of him, brave enough to go here alone. He said he’ll go to
The third round was an interview session, the toughest one I think. I was nervous, adrenaline rushed through my veins, hands suddenly felt cold and shivering when my name was called out. There were 6 person per interview. So, kira macam interview ramai2 la. There were 3 interviewers who I forgot their names, asked us to introduce ourselves, how to deal with the customer and what we had prepared for the interview.
I was the second one to introduce myself that time. I think I was a bit tersasul2 and grammarpun tunggang terbalik, but afterward, get used with them, lama2 okay la. One of my i-regret-saying-that-word was ‘I love the feeling when landing’, LIKE WTH!! I also don’t know why did I even mentioned that. And also! I asked them about the salary which I regretted so much, it looks like I went there for the sake of money . huhuhu. Berlah tu. After the interview finished, we went for a drink outside the room with an eager feeling to know the results. Results came out, all of us didn’t get it, even my friends who spoke English damn fluently also didn’t get it. How sad. But for me, I accept it with an open heart, it was great to experienced all of it. Thanks to Memey,Zuing and Fella, nice meeting you all on that day.
Actually, after the interview still got the next round which was grooming. IDK about this, since I didn't get through it. During the day, I met Izzah Ibrahim (my primary school mate), Adam Haziq’s sister which I forgot to ask her name and also Julaiha (my secondary school mate). I think Izzah and Adam’s sister only sampai interview juga. But memang banyak orang fail tym interview session. MAS is a very strict airline, I think they only pick 30 person over 400.
These are the pics I took after the interview finished. I can’t snap a pic inside the interview room, I don’t think they’ll allow me though.

Teehehe !Great experience, great peoples, great fashions, great make-up, great place! I’m glad I came!Looking forward to a next cabin crew interview, Air Asia maybe?
There’s no room for me to be sad because of this failure, naaahh not a failure, an experience! I still got a long way to go, cheers to a freaking day everybody!
With love,
Deidre.
